How a lot of the people that come to mind when we think of billionaires (Beyoncé, Jay Z, Riri - I’m talking about you) aren’t even in the top 100! There are SO many billionaires rn, all with life-changing, nay, WORLD-changing money and they choose to essentially do not much at all... for many of the reasons I discussed here 👇🏽

It got me thinking even more deeply about the way that we view poverty as inevitable and poor people as deserving of that fiscal lack. Even if every holiday season we’ll laud the ‘season of giving’ and make a few donations to folks who have less than us, we kinda like that there are folks who have less. We like that seeing others with less ‘reminds us to be grateful for what we do have’. Yeugh.
